2. WORKS IN PROGRESS
Here is a quick update on the groups I am currently affiliated with:
Gray Code - Preserving the best of and exploring the edges of New Music,
this quintet has been very inspirational since we formed a few short months
ago. Bookings and festival submissions are happening now and I expect a
calendar of events "in a town near you" by mid-Spring. Our performances to
date have had mixed (and sometimes even confused) reactions, so we can be
sure that we're doing our job. Catch more info and MP3's at
http://www.metatronpress.com.
Tikkun - In this trio with a dark, operatic poet (David Striar) and fluent,
world music-influenced jazz guitarist (John Kamman of the award-winning
group Bottomland), I primarily play udu and percussion and even use my best
"gospelicious" voice on a piece or two. The result is a mix of world, folk,
and classical breeds or music that I would go so far as to call a "musaic."
Incredibly powerful stuff - website and MP3's are forthcoming.
Angel Fall - Recently expanded from a guitar/vocal duo, these folks really
know how to make some Music. Another hand percussion gig, but I think it
shows tremendous promise for something tasteful in the Pop realm.
Quest Percussion Group - On leave as we develop side projects to support
the Instrument Fund.

3. BUSINESS
I am building another online business, this time in the business of getting
people online! I am developing a website hosting and design company run by
me with contracted labor for the HTML, CGI, JAVA and PERL scripting. The
next month will prove interesting as I build four to five "flagship"
accounts. If you're interested in a break on secure web and email hosting
and some cheap or free design work, please give me a call! I'm willing to
do sample sites (with signed NDA) and will be charging monthly design
service fees that are renegotiated on a quarterly basis to avoid
"nickel-and-dime" invoices. For the first few "flagship" sites, I'll be
doing all but the hosting for free. (Get in quick - there are two companies
and one band already signed on!) I can almost guarantee that my hosting
package for companies will be cheaper than any other and FAR faster than
most since my servers are located near the MAE-East hub.
